My passion for German automobiles drove me to rent a Porsche Cayman S. They say the new 2006 – 2007 Porsche Cayman S comes with a 295hp engine that is capable of going from 0 – 60 in 5.1 seconds, that’s only .7 seconds faster then the regular Cayman. I rented the all new Porsche Cayman S to do my own testing. But of course I didn’t tell the rental company that. The first time I went in to rent the Cayman they were all out. It seems like Porsche Cayman rentals were in high demand that day. When I was able to rent it I was very excited to see they had the color I wanted. As I drove off I felt all 295 horses dancing around in the engine compartment. I drove to a nice secluded area and prepared my testing grounds. As I revved up the 24-valve flat-six boxer engine to launching RPM and dropped the clutch. I felt the ground crumble beneath me. I think I actually heard the asphalt scream for mercy as the 19inch wheels tore into the ground. I must say renting a Porsche Cayman was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve had. I’d recommend this rental to anyone who has a taste for excitement. Oh yeah, and as for my testing experiments the Cayman S passed with flying colors.
